Who we are
Par Aide is a family-owned manufacturer dedicated to craftsmanship across the entire golf course. We don’t believe in mass-produced shortcuts. By maintaining hands-on control over our design and production processes, we ensure the proven durability and meticulous quality of every product that leaves our facility. From the first tee to the final hole, we build things the right way because we know your course’s reputation relies on it.
Our history
In 1954, Joseph S. Garske had no way of knowing he was about to change an entire industry.
He was running a thriving pattern-making business, Progress Foundries, when a casual conversation at a PGA meeting in St. Paul sparked a breakthrough idea: invent a better ball washer. Within a year, Joe designed it, built the tooling to produce it, and patented it.
He offered his new invention to two established golf accessory companies. Both turned him down.
So, he built the company himself.
What began as a small foundry subsidiary has grown into a multi-generational legacy, passed from Joe Garske to Robert F. Gerding, and now to Steve Garske. Over seventy years later, that very same stubborn commitment to quality, innovation, and the crews who maintain the course has made Par Aide a global industry leader.
